Spanish, Italian & Portuguese

This workshop will introduce participants to several telecollaborative tools that can be used in language exchange activities. Participants will engage in brief demonstrations of four tools, discuss considerations for selecting and using tools, and have plenty of time to further explore tools of interest, using the Language Lab PC computer stations.  Feel free to bring your laptop if you prefer.

The workshop will be conducted by Hope Fitzgerald, Director of the Language Commons (NCH 299).

On Friday, Feb. 23, from 4:30-6 pm in the Ruth Caplan Theatre, the Drama Department will be staging an English adaptation of Tirso de Molina’s Don Gil de las calzas verdes entitled Love’s a Bitch.

Please join us on 23 February at 5 pm in Minor 125 for a lecture with Devyn Spence Benson (Africana Studies, Davidson College) and Lillian Guerra (History, University of Florida) on "Afro-Cuban Futurisms."
