Daniel Everhart

In 2014, Daniel received his Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from the University of North Carolina Asheville with distinctions as a University Scholar and a University Research Scholar. At UNC Asheville, he volunteered with the peer mentoring program SLI (Scholar's Latin@ Initiative), served as an assistant teacher in the Spanish department, and worked as an after school teacher and interpreter in the under-served community of Asheville. He completed and presented research on the intersection of queer perspectives and identity in the poetic works in Salvador Novo and Xavier Villaurrutia in post-revolution Mexico. 

After graduating, he moved to Zaragoza, Spain where he currently resides until the Fall.
