Elena Neacsu is a sixth year PhD student in Spanish Literature. Originally from Romania, she holds a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish as well as an M.A. in Spanish Literature from Binghamton University.
Elena’s academic areas of interest are Spanish literature of the Golden Age, particularly Lope de Vega and Calderón’s theater; Colonial Spanish American Literature and Translation Studies.
In her free time she enjoys reading, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
