SPAN 1010 and SPAN 2010 in J-Term 2020
The Department of Spanish, Italian, & Portuguese will be offering SPAN 1010 and SPAN 2010 in J-Term 2020. Courses will meet for 5 hours each day for 9 days, January 2-11, 2020, with class on Saturday, January 4 and Saturday, January 11. The tentative hours will be 9:00-12:00 and 1:30-3:30. Full attendance is required for the duration of the term.

Please join us in congratulating Spanish major Jack Brake (CLAS 2018) on receiving the Marshall Scholarship to study politics and international relations at the University of Cambridge next year. After defending his thesis on architecture and convivencia in medieval Andalucía, Jack went on to study global affairs at Tsinghua University in China as a Schwartzman scholar.
